My name is Stephen Acheson, and I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Alaska. I learned an early appreciation of the outdoors as grew up. Throughout my life, I have always had a deep passion for helping others. No matter the job I've held, there has always been an element of assisting and supporting people.
I am thrilled to now be a part of the State Farm team, where I can continue to make a positive impact on people's lives. My experience extends beyond Alaska, as I have lived in Finland for a couple of years and also had the incredible opportunity to be a foreign exchange student in Moldavia.
At home, I have a lovable border collie who never seems to tire of playing fetch. He brings so much joy and energy into my life. Speaking of my personal life, I have been happily married to my wonderful wife Rachel for seven amazing years. Together, we have built a strong and loving marriage.
When I'm not busy helping others or spending time with my family, you can find me enjoying volleyball. Whether I am playing on the court or cheering from the sidelines, I find great excitement in this sport. Other sports I enjoy include hockey and football. I was once asked what I liked doing in Alaska and after a moment, I responded with snowmachining, sledding, snowball fights, etc. They said with a shake of the head that they preferred water sports. I smiled and said, "they are water sports."
